Innoviz Technologies Selected as LiDAR Supplier by Unidentified Commercial Vehicle Original Equipment Manufacturer; Shares Up Pre-Bell

09:10 AM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Innoviz Technologies ( INVZ ) said Monday that it has been selected by an unidentified original equipment manufacturer to supply advanced LiDAR units for Level 4 autonomous class-8 semi-trucks.

Innoviz ( INVZ ) said it has been chosen as a future series production supplier and plans to deliver the first units of its InnovizTwo sensors to support the manufacturer's trucking fleet this year.

The company said it will also create software modifications to the InnovizTwo platform to cater to unique vehicle integration requirements.

The Level 4 autonomous trucks are expected to be deployed across highways and regional routes in North America, the company said.

Shares of the company were up more than 7% in recent Monday premarket activity.
