05:00 PM EDT, 08/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Inotiv ( NOTV ) said in a late Monday filing that it was hit by a cybersecurity incident that gave a threat actor unauthorized access to and encryption of certain company systems.

The company said it detected the breach on Aug. 8 and has since initiated an investigation, brought in outside cybersecurity specialists, and informed law enforcement authorities.

Inotiv ( NOTV ) has yet to determine whether the incident will be deemed material, as the overall extent and financial consequences are still uncertain amid an ongoing investigation, it added.
