11:56 AM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Instacart (CART) and Roku ( ROKU ) said Wednesday they're expanding their advertising partnership to include new shoppable formats and targeting.
On Roku ( ROKU ), consumer-packaged goods advertisers can now create a direct path to purchase from their ad creative through text messaging or QR code, with Instacart as the landing destination. With Instacart, users watching Roku ( ROKU ) can get an advertised product delivered to them in as fast as an hour, the companies said.
The expanded partnership also allows advertisers to make targeted and "high-impact shoppable placements" on Roku's ( ROKU ) home screen that drive users to buy those products on Instacart.
Instacart shares were up nearly 1% in recent trading, while Roku ( ROKU ) fell 1%.
