Inszone Insurance Services Expands into Kentucky with Acquisition of Lexington Insurance Agency
Sep 16, 2025 11:15 AM

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Inszone Insurance Services, a rapidly growing national provider of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance solutions, is excited to announce its acquisition of Lexington Insurance Agency, a highly respected independent insurance agency based in Lexington, Kentucky. This acquisition marks Inszone’s entrance into the Kentucky market and continues the company’s momentum of expanding its presence across the Midwest and Southeast.

Founded in 1952 by Garvice D. Kincaid, Lexington Insurance Agency has served clients for more than 70 years, providing trusted insurance solutions across personal, business, health, and life insurance lines. The agency became employee-owned in 2004 and has long been recognized for its dedication to clients both large and small, offering personalized service backed by access to a wide network of top carriers. Under the leadership of Kevin O. Stinnett, Lexington Insurance Agency has remained committed to delivering superior service while adapting to the evolving needs of individuals, families, and businesses in the region.

“The decision to merge with Inszone Insurance Services was about growth and gaining the resources we need to better serve our clients,” said Stinnett, owner of Lexington Insurance Agency. “As a single-owner agency, there comes a point where it’s challenging to scale while maintaining the personal service our clients deserve. Partnering with Inszone lets me focus on what I do best, building relationships and taking care of clients—while giving our agency the tools to continue growing. What mattered most to me was keeping our local touch, and with this merger, we’ll continue serving everyone from families and friends to small businesses and large accounts.”

Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition: “We are thrilled to welcome Kevin and the entire Lexington Insurance Agency team to Inszone. With a legacy of more than 70 years, strong community ties, and a reputation for client-first service, Lexington Insurance is an outstanding partner for us. This acquisition not only extends our geographic reach but also reinforces our commitment to preserving the local relationships and personalized service that make agencies like Lexington so valuable.”

Clients of Lexington Insurance Agency will continue to work with the same trusted agents while benefiting from Inszone’s expanded carrier access, advanced tools, and nationwide support network.
