Inszone Insurance Services Expands Presence in Kansas with Acquisition of Parker-Haskins Insurance
Sep 23, 2025 11:08 AM

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Inszone Insurance Services, a rapidly growing national provider of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Parker-Haskins Insurance, a trusted independent agency based in Dodge City, Kansas.

Founded in 1986 by Doug Parker and Donna Haskins, Parker-Haskins Insurance grew from the ground up, establishing itself as a respected independent agency in Western Kansas. For nearly four decades, the firm has remained dedicated to serving the local community, building lasting relationships with clients, some of whom have been with the agency since the mid-1990s. Their commitment is also reflected in the longevity of their team, with several employees contributing 20 or more years of service.

The agency’s focus on community and employee loyalty has been a cornerstone of its success. Bill Tuley, who first joined Parker-Haskins while farming, built a career in crop insurance while also supporting commercial and life & health clients. Similarly, Sadie Wideman transitioned from accounting into a licensed role, playing a key part in the agency’s long-term growth and client service in commercial lines.

When considering a partner for the future, Parker-Haskins Insurance prioritized continuity for employees and clients. “The fit wasn’t right to sell locally with other buyers in our area,” said Wideman. “Inszone offered the support, resources, and carrier access we needed, while still ensuring that our employees would be taken care of and our clients would continue receiving the same hometown service and attention they’ve always trusted.”

The decision to partner with Inszone was reinforced by personal engagement. “Getting a letter from Chris and later a phone call from Ken started the conversation, but it was Chris taking the time to come out to Dodge City in person that really made a difference. It showed us the level of commitment and partnership Inszone brings to the table,” Wideman added.

The transition into Inszone has been smooth, with employees embracing new processes and resources. While change always brings new challenges, the team is optimistic about the future and confident in the support that comes with being part of a larger organization.

“Parker-Haskins Insurance has built an exceptional legacy in Dodge City and throughout Western Kansas,” said Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services. “Their deep expertise in crop insurance and their strong client relationships make them a natural fit for Inszone. We are excited to partner with their talented team, provide additional resources, and continue delivering the same high level of service their clients have come to expect.”

Parker-Haskins Insurance brings to Inszone expertise in crop insurance and is recognized as one of the largest crop insurers in Western Kansas. The team will continue serving clients from their Dodge City office, now with access to expanded resources and support through Inszone for all lines of business.

This acquisition marks another important step in Inszone’s continued growth, with additional expansion announcements forthcoming.
