Integra LifeSciences Gets FDA Clearance to Use Surgical Device in Heart Procedures

05:05 PM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Integra LifeSciences ( IART ) said Tuesday it received US Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance to use its CUSA Clarity Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator System in cardiac surgeries, including valve replacement and repair.

The system, already approved for several surgical procedures such as neurosurgery and liver transplant, allows for fragmentation, emulsification and aspiration of soft and hard tissue.

The company will showcase the system at the American Association for Thoracic Surgery Mitral Valve Conclave in New York on Dec. 11-12.

Shares of the company were up 2% in after-hours trading.
