Intel, Karma Automotive to Collaborate on Software-Defined Vehicle Architecture

02:03 PM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Intel's ( INTC ) automotive unit and ultra-luxury automaker Karma Automotive plan to collaborate on the development of software-defined vehicle architecture.

SDVA will support Karma Automotive's future vehicles including the Karma Kaveya super coupe, expected to launch in 2026 with a price of $300,000, the electric-vehicle maker said Wednesday.

The companies intend to advance open standards for SDVA for the broader automotive industry and to offer original equipment manufacturers and tier 1 suppliers with a business-to-business SDVA offering, Karma Automotive said.
