01:40 PM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Intel ( INTC ) on Wednesday announced the expansion of its Xeon workstation processor lineup with the introduction of W-3500 and W-2500 desktop workstation processors.

The company said the processors were designed to meet the growing compute demands of artificial intelligence and machine learning-related tasks.

The processors were available for order beginning today with system availability starting in September, the company said. Prices would start from $609 and scale to up to $5,889.
