Intel India held a virtual summit this week and announced the launch of a new Applied AI Research Centre in collaboration with the Telangana government, IIT-Hyderabad and the Public Health Foundation of India.

During the summit, Intel unveiled 'the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the Indian labour market' report. One of the findings from this survey was that firms that have projects with high suitability for machine learning are expected to receive investments that are broader in scope and quantum.

To talk about all the announcements made by Intel and the findings of the report, CNBC-TV18's Megha Vishwanath spoke to Nivruti Rai, Country Head for Intel India.

Also watch Anirudh Singla, Co-Founder and CEO of Pepper Content talks about the $4 million they raised in a ‘Series A’ funding round led by Lightspeed India and leading angels across India and Silicon Valley.
