02:23 PM EDT, 07/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intel ( INTC ) is planning to lay off about 529 employees in Oregon as part of a permanent workforce reduction, the company said in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act filing.

The affected locations include sites in Aloha and Hillsboro, with separations scheduled to begin July 15, the company said.

Shares of the company were up over 7% in recent trading.
