09:22 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intel ( INTC ) said Thursday that high-volume production of its upcoming Panther Lake laptop chip will start this year.

The company said Intel Core Ultra series 3 is its first product built on Intel ( INTC ) 18A, which it described as the "most advanced semiconductor process" developed and made in the US.

The chips are expected to start shipping later this year, Intel ( INTC ) said.
