Intel's RealSense Completes Spin-Off, Raises $50 Million Investment
Jul 11, 2025 5:24 AM

08:02 AM EDT, 07/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intel's ( INTC ) RealSense said Friday it has completed its spin-off from Intel and closed a $50 million series A financing round.

RealSense now operates as an independent company, it said, adding that investment was led by a semiconductor private equity company and from strategic investors including Intel Capital and MediaTek Innovation Fund.

The raised investment will support RealSense's expansion into adjacent and emerging markets and increase its production, sales, and go-to-market international presence to fulfill demand for humanoid and autonomous mobile robotics, RealSense said.

Additionally, the former Intel's business said it will continue to support its current clients and product roadmap.

Intel's ( INTC ) stock was down almost 1% in recent Friday premarket activity.
