09:09 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) said Thursday open interest in August was up 13% from a year earlier.

Energy open interest was up 6% last month, while oil open interest was up 14% year-over-year, the company said. Natural gas average daily volume was 8% higher, while open interest increased 2% from a year earlier, the New York Stock Exchange's parent said.

Financials ADV increased 6% and open interest was up 34% from a year earlier, ICE said.
