08:51 AM EDT, 10/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) said Friday total open interest for September rose 15% from a year ago.

Energy open interest increased 8% from last year, with oil open interest and total natural gas open interest up 14% and 6% year over year, respectively, the company said.

Financials open interest surged 34% with average daily volume rising 4% for the month, the company said.

Shares were up 1.6% in recent premarket activity.
