Intercontinental Exchange's Average Daily Volume Rises 31% in March

09:16 AM EDT, 04/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) said Thursday its total average daily volume rose 31% year over year in March.

The market operator said open interest in March was up 11% year over year, including record OI of 103.4 million lots on March 13.

Energy ADV rose 24%, while open interest increased 11%, including record OI of 67.6 million lots on March 25.

Total oil ADV was up 7% year over year, with open interest 14% higher, including record OI of 16.3 million lots on March 25.

Financials ADV increased 47%, while open interest rose 17% from a year earlier.
