09:05 AM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) said Monday that its total average daily volume rose 44% year over year in April.

The market operator said open interest in April was up 9% year over year.

Energy ADV rose 41%, while open interest increased 8%.

Total oil ADV was up 41% year over year, with open interest 18% higher.

Financials ADV increased 57%, while open interest rose 17% from a year earlier.
