09:19 AM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- InterDigital (IDCC) said Monday it has been granted an injunction against Walt Disney Co. ( DIS ) by the Munich Regional Court over patent infringement related to streaming video content using high dynamic range technology.

InterDigital said that Disney ( DIS ) can appeal the decision.

The same court had previously granted InterDigital an injunction against Disney ( DIS ) over patent infringement related to a method for overlaying a first video stream with a second video stream, the company said.

Disney ( DIS ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

InterDigital shares were up 1.3% in recent Monday premarket activity.
