Intermap Technologies Announcing Subscription Renewal with U.S. Telecom Provider; No Financials Given

05:07 PM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Intermap Technologies ( ITMSF ) , a global player in 3D geospatial products and intelligence solutions, announced after trade Tuesday a "leading" provider of fixed wireless broadband services in the United States has renewed its subscription to Intermap's ( ITMSF ) NEXTWave telecommunications analytics. No financial details were given.

Powered by Intermap's ( ITMSF ) 3D digital surface and terrain models, NEXTWave provides "fast and reliable line-of-sight and radio frequency signal propagation analysis between radio transmitters and antennas over short and long distances" a statement noted. It said Intermap's ( ITMSF ) analytics enable network planners to "explore the feasibility of new geographic markets, plan infrastructure placement, compare antenna frequencies between different hardware and eliminate the need and cost of purchasing elevation data to run analyses".

"Intermap's ( ITMSF ) telecom analytics enable operators to be more efficient and competitive by utilizing high-resolution, real-world elevation data to accurately model signal propagation," said Patrick A. Blott, Intermap ( ITMSF ) Chairman and CEO. "Powered by our globally available NEXTMap elevation data, our telecom analytics are unique in offering high-accuracy, web-based or API analytics combined with proprietary, high-acuity terrain information. Operators use Intermap's ( ITMSF ) proprietary tools to plan their network deployments more efficiently, with greater accuracy and cost-effectiveness, enabling clients to select the best location for infrastructure to support low latency networks."
