Intermap Technologies Expands Space Communications Infrastructure Contract
May 15, 2024 6:06 AM

08:41 AM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Intermap Technologies ( ITMSF ) on Wednesday said it has expanded its contract with a spacecraft, launch and communications operator to supply high-precision 3D NEXTMap elevation data for additional areas of operation.

The company, in 3D geospatial products and intelligence solutions, said that since the first announcement last September, the data contract has been expanded to include more operation sites for radio frequency (RF) interference modeling. Intermap ( ITMSF ) uses its commercial archive of 3D data and proprietary artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) software and processing algorithms to assist clients with critical as-a-service infrastructure to address terrain and space-based challenges.

"This expansion of our space infrastructure data exploitation contract underscores our commitment to providing precise, reliable 3D data to enhance simulation capabilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and bolstering global situational awareness," said Patrick Blott, the company's chairman and CEO.
