05:21 AM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- International Business Machines ( IBM ) will add up to 800 jobs across Ireland as it invests in building advanced software underpinned by the latest artificial intelligence technologies for security, automation and hybrid cloud areas, said state invesetment agency IDA Ireland on Thursday.

The new roles will be in research and development, digital sales, and consulting at IBM ( IBM ) sites in Dublin, Cork, and Waterford.

The Government of Ireland supports the three-year investment through IDA Ireland.
