International Business Machines to Launch Cloud Multizone Region in Montreal, Canada

10:07 AM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- International Business Machines ( IBM ) said Monday it plans to launch a cloud infrastructure setup in Montreal, Quebec, to support Canadian enterprises in meeting regulatory requirements when using technology like Generative AI.

The company said the Montreal Cloud Multizone Region will consist of three isolated zones within a data center or cloud infrastructure to support availability, consistent cloud services, and resiliency for mission-critical workloads.

The facility is slated to open in H1 2025, International Business Machines ( IBM ) said.
