07:29 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Game Technology ( IGT ) said Tuesday that its global lottery organization will start doing business as Brightstar Lottery, effective immediately.

Brightstar will become a pure play lottery business upon the completion of the sale of International Game's ( IGT ) gaming and digital business to Voyager Parent, a holding company owned by funds managed by Apollo Global Management ( APO ) affiliates, International Game ( IGT ) said.

That deal is expected to close as early as July 1, the company said.
