International Paper Completes Sale of 5 European Box Plants

07:09 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Paper ( IP ) said Tuesday it has closed the sale of five European box plants to Palm Group.

The sale includes assets in France, Portugal and Spain.

The company said it has now satisfied all of its obligations towards the European Commission pertaining to its recent acquisition of DS Smith.
