International Paper Starts Construction of Sustainable Packaging Box Plant in Iowa

08:33 AM EDT, 05/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Paper ( IP ) said Friday it has begun construction of a sustainable packaging box plant in Waterloo, Iowa.

The new facility, which will mainly focus on serving the protein segment, is set to begin operations in Q4 of 2026 and will have 190 employees, the company said.
