International Paper to Shut Packaging Facilities in California, Kentucky

12:54 PM EST, 11/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Paper ( IP ) announced plans to close packaging facilities in Compton, California, and Louisville, Kentucky, by January.

The Compton shutdown will affect 125 employees, while the Louisville closure will impact 93, the company said Friday in a statement.

Customers will be serviced from nearby locations.
