11:14 AM EDT, 08/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Intra-Cellular Therapies ( ITCI ) said Wednesday it has appointed Sanjeev Narula as chief financial officer, effective Monday.

Narula will succeed CFO Lawrence Hineline, who will retire on Monday. Hineline will serve as a consultant to the company for a specific period for a smooth transition, Intra-Cellular said.

Narula most recently served as Viatris' ( VTRS ) CFO, the company added.

Shares of Intra-Cellular were down 3.5% in recent Wednesday trading.
