Intuitive Machines' Athena Lunar Lander for IM-2 Mission Set for Targeted Launch

11:02 AM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intuitive Machines ( LUNR ) said its Athena lunar lander for the IM-2 mission is enclosed safely within SpaceX's payload fairing for launch after completing all integration milestones.

The IM-2 mission is targeted for a multiday launch window that is expected to open by Feb. 26, the company said Thursday in a statement.

IM-2 is Intuitive Machines' ( LUNR ) second mission under NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative.
