05:01 PM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Intuitive Machines ( LUNR ) said late Thursday that it received a $116.9 million contract from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

The contract requires the company to deliver six science and technology payloads, including one European Space Agency-led drill suite to the Moon's South Pole.

Shares of the company soared 13% in after-hours activity.
