Intuitive Says da Vinci 5 Surgical System Gets European CE Mark Approval

10:11 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intuitive Surgical ( ISRG ) said Wednesday its new robotic surgery system has received the European CE mark for use in adult and pediatric patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures in Europe.

The da Vinci 5 is the company's fifth-generation robotic platform and includes over 150 improvements compared with previous models, Intuitive said.

Shares of the company were 2.2% higher in recent trading.
