PARIS, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Investigators searched the
offices of U.S. streaming giant Netflix ( NFLX ) in France and
the Netherlands as part of a preliminary investigation into tax
fraud laundering, a French judicial source said on Tuesday.
The French investigation was opened in November 2022, the
source said.
French and Dutch investigators were collaborating on the
probe and Dutch authorities were simultaneously searching the
company's European headquarters in Amsterdam, the source added.
"Cooperation between the French and Dutch authorities
has been underway for many months as part of these proceedings,"
the source said.
Representatives for Netflix ( NFLX ) did not immediately respond to a
request for comment.
