Jul 22, 2024 3:07 PM

05:47 PM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Invitation Homes ( INVH ) said Monday it agreed to pay about $20 million to settle a lawsuit in connection with allegations that its contractors failed to pull building permits on certain home improvements.

The company maintains that the complaint filed under the California False Claims Act was without merit, saying the settlement is still subject to final approval by the US District Court in the Southern District of California.
