04:42 PM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ionis Pharmaceuticals ( IONS ) said Tuesday it has launched a $700 million offering of convertible senior notes due 2030 in a private placement.

Initial purchasers will be granted an option to buy an additional notes worth $70 million, the company said.

Ionis Pharmaceuticals ( IONS ) said it expects to use the net proceeds from the offering towards the repurchase its 0% convertible senior notes due 2026 from time to time and general corporate purposes.

Shares of the company were up over 3% in extended trading.
