05:11 AM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ionis Pharmaceuticals ( IONS ) said Monday that it has priced its previously announced underwritten public offering of 11.5 million common shares at $43.50 per share for total proceeds of about $500.3 million.

The company granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1.7 million additional shares at the same offering price. Ionis Pharmaceuticals ( IONS ) expects to close the offering on Sept. 11 and said proceeds will be used to fund its independent commercial launches, clinical programs, research and development, and for general working capital.
