08:01 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- IonQ ( IONQ ) said Monday that its collaborative research with AstraZeneca ( AZN ) , Amazon's ( AMZN ) AWS, and Nvidia ( NVDA ) achieved a 20 times speedup in quantum-classical computational chemistry simulations compared with prior demonstrations.

The project integrated IonQ's ( IONQ ) Forte quantum processor with Nvidia's ( NVDA ) CUDA-Q platform and AWS's Braket and ParallelCluster services. Designed to advance early-stage pharmaceutical development, the workflow cut computational runtimes from months to days while maintaining accuracy.

IonQ ( IONQ ) said the results will be presented at the ISC High Performance conference from June 10 to June 13 in Hamburg, Germany.
