06:53 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- IonQ ( IONQ ) said Wednesday that it has partnered with the University of Cambridge to establish the IonQ Quantum Innovation Centre, aiming to accelerate commercialization of quantum research and expanding its IP portfolio in the UK.

The company said the centre will deploy its 6th-generation, 256-qubit system on campus and provide access to its quantum cloud, supporting research and workforce development in quantum computing, networking, sensing, and security.

Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
