07:39 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- IonQ ( IONQ ) said Wednesday it has surpassed 1,000 licensed, owned or controlled patents following the issuance of new patents in the US.

The company said latest patents include a portable quantum memory package for secure long distance communication and a self-aligned fabrication process for coupling of photonic waveguide inside quantum memory devices.

Shares of IonQ ( IONQ ) were up nearly 1% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
