IPG Photonics' Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Decline; Shares Rise Over 9% Pre-Bell

08:40 AM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- IPG Photonics ( IPGP ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $0.30 per diluted share, down from $0.52 a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $0.15.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $250.7 million, compared with $257.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $229.6 million.

For Q3, the company said it expects adjusted earnings in a range of $0.05 to $0.35 per diluted share on revenue of $225 million to $255 million. Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expect adjusted earnings of $0.17 per share, while analysts polled by FactSet expect revenue of $238.2 millon.

Shares of IPG Photonics ( IPGP ) gained 9.4% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
