IPL cricket team Royal Challengers Bengaluru sold to consortium for $1.78 billion

March 24 (Reuters) - A consortium comprising Aditya Birla Group, Times of India Group, Bolt Ventures, and Blackstone said on Tuesday it had acquired Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru from United Spirits, a Diageo ( DEO ) subsidiary, for $1.78 billion.
