07:52 AM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- IREN (IREN) said Monday it has purchased an additional 4,200 Nvidia ( NVDA ) Blackwell B200 graphics processing units for about $193 million.

The company also said it has secured $102 million of financing for a previous purchase of Nvidia Blackwell B200 and B300 GPUs, structured as a 36-month lease.

IREN is conducting discussions for the financing of the latest purchase of GPUs, after making an initial commitment from existing cash.

The new B200s will be installed at IREN's Prince George campus, which can support phased growth to about 20,000 Blackwell GPUs, the company said.

The purchase is expected to expand IREN's AI Cloud over the coming months to about 8,500 Nvidia GPUs.
