iRhythm Technologies Secures Japanese Approval for EGC Monitoring Device

08:45 AM EDT, 09/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- iRhythm Technologies ( IRTC ) said Wednesday that its 14-day ECG monitoring system, Zio, received regulatory approval from Japan's pharmaceutical and medical device agency.

With regulatory approval, the company said it intends to work with the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare to reach a reimbursement decision for the Zio ECG monitoring system.

Shares were 1% higher in recent premarket trading.
