07:56 AM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Iridium Communications ( IRDM ) said Wednesday that Chief Financial Officer Thomas Fitzpatrick is planning to retire at the end of the year.

Senior Vice President of Finance Vincent O'Neill has been named Fitzpatrick's successor, effective Jan. 1, the company said.

Fitzpatrick will continue to serve as a board member, it added.
