NEW YORK, April 30 (Reuters) - Proxy advisory firm
Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) on
Tuesday recommended Norkolk Southern investors elect
five director candidates proposed by activist investor Ancora
Holdings.
"We find that questions about the management and direction
of the company would be best answered by a reconfigured board
with more extensive and balanced industry expertise and the
benefit of access to all available information," ISS said in a
report seen by Reuters.
Ancora is seeking to replace seven board members including
Norfolk Southern ( NSC ) CEO Alan Shaw.
