04:33 PM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Itron ( ITRI ) said late Wednesday it is expanding its partnership with the American Samoa Power Authority to modernize the territory's electricity distribution system using advanced metering technology.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

As part of the project, the authority will deploy Itron's ( ITRI ) Advanced Metering Infrastructure, which includes smart electric meters, the UtilityIQ application suite, and iPay prepayment software.
