09:20 AM EDT, 03/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Itron ( ITRI ) said Monday it is making available a non-wire product that addresses utility grid visibility and control challenges, in collaboration with Schneider Electric and Microsoft ( MSFT ) .

The company said its Grid Edge Intelligence will be integrated with Schneider Electric's Digital Grid products and Microsoft's ( MSFT ) data and AI offerings to provide visibility into distribution grid bottlenecks. The Grid Edge Intelligence product can enhance the grid capacity of utilities' existing infrastructure by up to 20% while maintaining grid asset loading within current design limits, Itron ( ITRI ) said.

The integrated product will initially be available in North America by the end of the year, the company said.
