09:57 AM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ivanhoe Electric ( IE ) said Tuesday it now fully owns the mineral and surface rights for the Santa Cruz Copper Project in Arizona.

This comes after Ivanhoe's Mesa Cobre Holding unit completed the final $10 million payment to exercise the option to acquire full ownership of the mineral rights at the project, Ivanhoe Electric ( IE ) said.
