08:33 AM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Jacobs Solutions ( J ) said Thursday that it was awarded roles on multiple design contracts with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to modernize and expand the I-39/90/94 interstate corridor.

The company said it will undertake design activities for segments across 67 miles from Madison to Wisconsin Dells, as well as serve as lead designer for Segment 3, which features the I-39 I-90/94 system interchange.

Design for the corridor will begin this year, to be followed by phased construction activities, the company said.

Upgrades under the contracts will include widening the interstate, interchange and bridge reconstruction, construction of three new interchanges, and raising roadway elevation to reduce flooding impact, Jacobs said.
