10:51 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Jacobs Solutions ( J ) said Thursday it was picked as owner's representative for the Omaha Streetcar Authority's transportation project in Nebraska.

Jacobs will provide services for the streetcar project such as design review, delivery oversight, as well as management of budget and schedule, the company said.

The project will connect Omaha's downtown urban area to surrounding neighborhoods, Jacobs said.

Financial details weren't provided.

Jacobs shares were rising 0.8% in recent trading.
