05:51 PM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JanOne ( JAN ) late Thursday said it has closed its all-stock acquisition of blockchain financial technology firm ALT 5 Sigma and its wholly-owned subsidiaries.

Under terms of the transaction announced late last week, JanOne ( JAN ) issued nearly 1.8 million common shares, representing a 19.9% equity stake in the drug-development company. JanOne ( JAN ) also issued 34,207 of its series B non-convertible preferred stock to complete the deal.

JanOne ( JAN ) shares were 2.5% lower in after-hours activity.
