FARNBOROUGH, England (Reuters) - Japan Airlines ( JPNRF ) has ordered 20 Airbus A350-900 and 11 A321neo planes, Airbus's planemaking chief Christian Scherer said at the Farnborough Airshow on Tuesday.
The deal essentially firms up plans announced in March, when Japan Airlines ( JPNRF ) said it would buy 21 wide-body A350-900 and 11 A321neo narrow-body jets.
Twenty A350-900s cost around $2.3 billion, while 11 A321neos cost about $710 million, according to estimated delivery prices from Cirium Ascend.
