TOKYO, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Japan Post ( JPHLF ) said on Monday it
will suspend accepting some postal items to the United States,
due to U.S. President Trump's order to terminate the global "de
minimis" exemption, a rule exempting low-value items from
customs duties.
U.S.-bound individual gifts exceeding $100 and goods for
sale will no longer be accepted from Wednesday, "in line with
other national postal operators," the Japanese company under
Japan Post Holdings ( JPHLF ) said in a statement on its website.
